Top IL Teaching Tip prize draw winner announced

The CILIP Information Literacy Group ran a prize draw at the recent CILIP Conference. Entrants were filmed giving their top information literacy teaching tip. Thank you to everyone who entered. Congratulations to Vicky Wilkie from the University of York, who wins an iPad mini.

Vicky says “I had a wonderful time at the CILIP conference meeting and sharing ideas with people from a range of information backgrounds. The two main points I took away from the conference were collaboration and celebration.  My top tip was to use your librarian as they are the greatest tool you will find in the library. The conference highlighted numerous examples of librarians and information professionals working together to ensure users were able to access the information they needed. There were also some brilliant examples of librarians working with colleagues in other departments to explore new methods of helping users access and evaluate information.”

Here is Vicky’s video:

We will be publishing a playlist of all the entries very soon.
