Rosie Jones and Lisa Jeskins have been appointed to the role of Deputy Co-chairs of the CILIP Information Literacy Group.
Rosie is the Director of Library Services and OpenLearn at The Open University and Lisa Jeskins is a freelance trainer, coach and consultant. They first worked together in 2003 at Manchester Metropolitan University Library and have been working together on the LILAC Committee since 2010.
LILAC Co-chairs since 2015, Rosie and Lisa make a great team and are passionate about information literacy, learning and development. They are really excited about their new roles, and will be playing to their strengths.
Rosie will lead on strategy and Lisa will lead on marketing and communications. Rosie’s first job will be to look at the group’s conference strategy and as such will continue to co-chair the LILAC Committee for LILAC 2019 (Nottingham), so that handover to the new LILAC Chair, Claire Packham, is seamless. Claire is the Head of Academic Services for City, University Of London Libraries and has been the Deputy Chair of LILAC since 2015.
