The Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) and The Right Information, the Scottish Information Literacy Community of Practice, held a Digital and Information Literacy Symposium on Friday 18th November 2016 in Glasgow. The seminar examined the relevance of digital and information literacy in relation to health, education, housing, employability and welfare reform. Presentations from the day focused on:
- Information literacy in impoverished circumstances
- Information literacy in the health sector
- Digitally agile national principles
- Digital learning and cultural practice
- Basic digital skills and information literacy
