The CILIP Information Literacy Group has an exciting opportunity to join the team as our Health Sector Representative; the role offers a great opportunity to become more involved with the work of the ILG, learn new skills, network, and help advocate for information literacy.
The role
We currently have a vacancy for a Health Sector Representative. This role is the focal point of liaison between the health sector and ILG. They work with the health sector to maintain and raise the profile of ILG and information literacy as a whole.
Who can apply
We are looking for applicants with experience of supporting the diverse information literacy needs of the healthcare sector. Knowledge of information literacy initiatives in the sector would be important.
Applicants should have experience of committee work (not necessarily with CILIP) and be based in the UK. Applicants should be members of CILIP (or willing to join). Please note that this is a voluntary position, and there is no remuneration related to the post.
We particularly welcome applications from under-represented communities and sectors. Candidates from BAME or other minority or under-represented communities may be eligible for free CILIP membership. Please contact membership@cilip.org.uk for details.
