LILAC 2017: call for papers now open

The LILAC Committee and CILIP Information Literacy Group are pleased to share that the call for papers for the 2017 Librarians’ Information Literacy Annual Conference (LILAC) is now open.

LILAC is a great opportunity for IL professionals to present their ideas, share best practice and showcase new thinking in the sector, in a variety of session formats. LILAC welcomes proposals addressing information literacy from across all sectors and contexts. The conference also invites abstracts for the LILAC Lagadothon. The Lagadothon format enables presenters to showcase their prototypes for new IL products/games/innovations.

The call for papers opened on 3rd October and will close on 26th October 2016, 17:00 (GMT).

All proposals can be submitted via the Conference’s online system and are blind refereed by a panel of reviewers.  Applicants will be notified by 21st December 2016 if they have been successful or otherwise.

More information can be found on the LILAC: Call for papers page, including details of the types of papers permitted. If you’re new to LILAC, you can check out our past posts on the conference or view the LILAC archive for an insight into what you can expect.

Please contact papers@lilacconference.com with any queries, and don’t forget to follow the LILAC Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts for updates.
