Chatting Info Lit – Episode 4 Now Live

Episode 4 of Chatting Info Lit is now live on Soundcloud, Apple and Spotify!

In episode 4, Ella Wharton (University of Nottingham) chats with Corin Peacock (Arts University Bournemouth) about Corin’s project looking at the LGBTQ+ community and self tracking, undertaken as part of a University of Sheffield research internship.

Corin talks about their experience being a new professional, and about how self tracking is used by the LGBTA+ community. The conversation covers how self-tracking apps can be a useful source of support, as well as the potential downsides of this form of information gathering.

Diversions include meme LILAC presentations, apologies to the editors, and the state of trans healthcare in the UK.
