WILU 2017 conference – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – 23rd-25th May 2017

The Workshop for Instruction in Library Use (WILU) conference is now open for registration! WILU is Canada’s annual information literacy conference. In 2017, it is being hosted at the University of Alberta in Edmonton between 23rd and 25th May 2017. The theme of the 46th conference is ‘Engage, Expand and Explore’:

Engage: How do we engage with and beyond our communities? How do we engage with each other and with our teaching work?

Expand: How do we support learners in asking big questions that lead to deeper learning? How do we broaden and diversify our programs and our approaches to teaching?

Explore: How do we get out of our comfort zones and reach beyond conventional practices? How do we take risks, experiment, and learn from our histories?

A preliminary programme is available.
