Postponement of LILAC 2021

LILAC will be back in April 2022

Given the on-going uncertainty surrounding large scale events in the coming months, and to ensure the safety of LILAC attendees, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our face-to-face conference until 2022.

We are very conscious of the fact that offering an equivalent conference online isn’t possible, due to the length of the conference and how packed our schedule always is. We don’t think moving the conference online would make for a good delegate or presenter experience. Instead the LILAC committee have started planning FestivIL by LILAC – an online event that will support the information literacy community for 2021, which is due to take place 6th-8th July 2021 across three half days – more information on this coming soon.

If you’re a presenter or a delegate with a deferred place, please keep an eye on your email as we will be in touch with you to let you know what your options are. To everyone else – please check our website and social media feeds for updates, and we hope to see you in person at LILAC 2022 at Manchester Metropolitan University, 11th-13th April 2022.
