We are pleased to announce that details of this year’s LILAC bursaries, for conference places to applicants in certain under-represented sectors and communities, are now available.
To have a truly engaging conference, we believe we need delegates who bring a variety of perspectives and backgrounds. The LILAC conference is therefore offering 5 free places for librarians working in the following under-represented sectors/communities in the UK:
- BAME
- Schools
- Further Education
- Public
- Health (e.g. NHS – please note; librarians working in Higher Education who support health
subjects are not eligible to apply)
The conference place includes 3 days attendance of all LILAC sessions and social events (networking evening and conference dinner) . Travel and accommodation expenses up to the value of £225 are also available if required.
The closing date for applicants is 1st December, 2019 (17:00 GMT).
