We are absolutely delighted to announce the date and venue for Icepops 2020. After their first year in Liverpool, this year they took the conference to Edinburgh, Scotland and next year’s conference will held in the beautiful capital city of Wales, Cardiff. The conference will take place on Tuesday 7th July 2020, with welcome events kicking off in the afternoon or evening of the 6th July and tours and the second meeting of the International Copyright Literacy Community of Practice planned for the morning of 8th July, so do block out this time in your diary now!
The call for papers will open in early December, and bookings will be open in the new year, but the theme of next year’s conference will be centred around copyright, creativity and cultural heritage. Keynote details coming soon!
Icepops are grateful to support from the CILIP Information Literacy Group and this year they also have the support of the Welsh Higher Education Libraries Forum (WHELF) and are also looking forward to working with local hosts in Cardiff, Marie Lancaster and Scott Pryor, who are busy devising all sorts of Welsh treats for the conference. There are also lots of exciting opportunities to sponsor various aspects of the conference, so please get in touch with Icepops if you are interested in participating in the conference as a sponsor.
