Health Information Week: changes ahead and call for new project team members

Health Information Week is changing! After consultation with stakeholders, we are moving Health Information Week to the third week of January each year. The next Health Information Week will take place from 20-26 January, 2025.

What is Health Information Week?
Health Information Week is a national, multi-sector campaign to promote high quality information. Previous examples of themes covered include Media Literacy, Health Literacy, Women’s Health and Mental Health and Wellbeing. We would love your support in the change of moving to a new date and would welcome any new project team members.

This is a great opportunity to work on a cross- sector campaign with colleagues all over the UK and develop your marketing and project management skills. Our project group members develop content and resources to support the themes of Health Information Week. The group meets a couple of times a year virtually and we are looking for new members. We would particularly welcome membership from the Volunteer and Charities Sector, Further Education Libraries, School Libraries, Public Libraries and Academic Libraries.

If you are interested in finding out more, contact: Dawn.Grundy@boltonft.nhs.uk. We will be additionally sharing regular blog posts between now and next January highlighting the value of supporting the campaign.
