The theme of the event is: Enhancing the student experience through interactivity and engagement.
The organisers are looking for willing presenters who would like to share aspects of their teaching practice with the LibTeachMeet attendees. Presentations will be 5 minutes in length, and can be about any aspect of using interactive tools and elements to increase student engagement and enhance their library experience. For example, you may use games, problem-solving activities, discussion groups, treasure hunts, etc. Presentations from all library sectors are welcome.
In addtion, there are two slots available for anyone who would like to run a short interactive session for the attendees, for example a game to be played in groups or a group discussion. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up on the day for one of eight ‘flash presentation’ slots of 2 minutes each.
You can register for the event as either a presenter, activity facilitator or audience member. Presenters will be contacted by email to discuss their content.
The event will take place on Thursday, 12th June, 13.30-17.00.
