CONUL Information Literacy event – extra tickets available!

Information literacy and scholarly communication: exploring the potential for collaboration – Thursday 5th November 2020, 10am-1pm, online.

The CONUL Teaching and Learning Group, in association with the CONUL Research Group, aims to explore the commonalities of information literacy and scholarly communication in libraries, encouraging new perspectives for our advocacy work with academics and students in these fast-changing areas.

This event will explore key areas where information literacy and open scholarship overlap, and will discuss how librarians can support both agendas.

Dr Jane Secker, chair of the CILIP Information Literacy Group will chair the event, with contributions from:

  • Katie Evans, Research Analytics Librarian, University of Bath
  • Samantha Holman, Chief Executive Officer, Irish Copyright Licensing Association
  • Michelle Dalton, Head of Research Services, University College Dublin
  • Hardy Schwamm. Open Scholarship Librarian, NUI Galway
