Bursary place available: Exploring the intersections of information literacy and scholarly communication

Tickets are now available for the Information Literacy Group’s forthcoming event: Exploring the intersections of information literacy and scholarly communication (full event details and standard booking information available here).

ILG is pleased to offer a free bursary place for this event, in memory of friend and colleague Marion Kelt. Marion was well known and respected in the library sector particularly for her award winning work on copyright.

To apply for the bursary, please submit a short personal statement (approx. 500 words) which meets the following criteria:

  • A clearly presented expression of why you wish to attend the event including why it will be valuable to your own work
  • Discuss at least one overlapping area of interest in relation to scholarly communications and information literacy
  • Show awareness of debate or literature in the field

The winning statement will be featured as a guest post on the Information Literacy Group blog.

Applications must be submitted by 23rd October, 2019 and should be sent to the ILG Training email: ilgrouptraining@gmail.com

Please note the bursary provides a free place at the event but does not cover travel expenses.
