Bursaries for LILAC 2018 – call for applications now open!

The Librarians’ Information Literacy Annual Conference (LILAC) takes place at the University of Liverpool between 4th and 6th April 2018. 4 free conference places are being offered for librarians working in the following sectors:

  • Schools
  • Further Education
  • Public
  • Health (eg: NHS – please note; librarians working in Higher Education who support health
    subjects are not eligible to apply)

Each conference place includes 3 days of attendance at all LILAC sessions and social events (networking evening and conference dinner). Accommodation and travel expenses up to the value of £250 are also available if required.

To be eligible for a place, you must be a librarian or information professional working in one of the sectors mentioned above in the UK. A short personal statement is required that outlines your commitment to information literacy. You should also explain what benefits you would gain from attending the conference and how you intend to use your conference experience in your work.

If you would like to be considered for a free conference place, then please complete the application form and return it to the LILAC committee at bursaries@lilacconference.com

Applications must be received by 1700 (GMT) on 29th November 2017.
