Workshops on IL teaching and reflective practice

The CILIP Information Literacy Group are pleased to announce that bookings are now open for two new workshops on information literacy and reflective practice topics.

Information Literacy Teaching for New(er) Professionals, 16th April, 2018, Sheffield.

This full day workshop will introduce models of information literacy and some basic teaching techniques that will help new professionals, plus those new to teaching or training information skills. The trainers for the event will be Kate Grigsby, Jane Secker and Andrew Walsh of the CILIP ILG Group.

Reflective Practice for Information Literacy Practitioners, 18th June, 2018, London.

This full day workshop will help information literacy practitioners (whether new professionals or those with longer experience) to become more effective and more reflective practitioners. The event will be led by Barbara Sen, former Senior Lecturer at the Information School, the University of Sheffield, and currently an External Examiner at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
