Tue 16 September from 12:00PM – 1:00PM
Do you want to speak with other librarians about how they are approaching AI and information literacy? More and more databases are incorporating natural language searching and AI summaries. With changes and development happening every day, each library may be approaching this situation differently.
Join Ella, Jane and other members of the ILG committee for this open discussion. This will be an open forum for librarians to share how they are planning to approach AI in their information literacy practice and teaching.
‘AI and IL – An open discussion on shared practice’ will be taking place on Tue 16 September from 12:00PM – 1:00PM. Sign up to this event using this link: https://buytickets.at/cilipinformationliteracygroup/1829519
This session will be fully collaborative. We will pose questions to all attendees, and as a group we will discuss how we are each approaching AI and information literacy. This is an informal, relaxed event; designed as a opportunity to share current and future practice.
The event is free for CILIP members, and £3 for non-CILIP members.
