The ever-popular bursaries to the LILAC Conference are on offer once more. LILAC 2019 promises to be as exciting, innovative and collaborative as ever. The conference is brimming with new ideas, innovative teaching techniques, inspiring speakers and exciting social events. It promises to be an absorbing 3 days.
We’re pleased to offer 5 free places for librarians working in the following under-represented sectors/communities in the UK:
- Further Education
- Health (e.g. NHS – please note; librarians working in Higher Education who support health subjects are not eligible to apply)
The conference place includes 3 days attendance of all LILAC sessions, social events (networking evening and conference dinner) and accommodation at Cripps Hall. Travel expenses up to the value of £100 are also available if required.
To be eligible for a place you must be a librarian, volunteer or information professional working in the above mentioned sectors/communities in the UK. You will have to show your commitment to information literacy by writing a short personal statement explaining what benefits you would gain from attending the conference, and how you intend to use your conference experience in your work.
The closing date for applications is Monday 19th November 17:00.
