The CILIP Information Literacy Group has two exciting openings to join the team, which offer a great opportunity to become more involved with the work of the ILG, learn new skills, network, and help advocate for information literacy.
The roles
We currently have a vacancy for a Health Sector Representative. This role is the focal point of liaison between the health sector and ILG. They work with the health sector to maintain and raise the profile of ILG and information literacy as a whole.
We also have a vacancy for an LIS Representative. This role is for someone working as a Library and Information Science educator / academic. They work with the group to raise the profile of information literacy for new professionals.
Who can apply
We are looking for applicants with experience of supporting the diverse information literacy needs of the healthcare sector and LIS education. Knowledge of information literacy initiatives in the relevant sectors would be important.
Applicants should have experience of committee work (not necessarily with CILIP) and be based in the UK. Applicants should be members of CILIP (or willing to join). Please note that this is a voluntary position, and there is no remuneration related to the post.
