Icepops: International Copyright-Literacy Event with Playful Opportunities for Practitioners and Scholars

On Tuesday 3rd April the first International Copyright-Literacy Event with Playful Opportunities for Practitioners and Scholars (Icepops) was held at the University of Liverpool. This one-day event was the first satellite event run as part of the LILAC conference.

Devised by Chris Morrison and Jane Secker (the UK Copyright Literacy team) and run in conjunction with the CILIP Information Literacy Group, the day included keynote speakers, a world café, an opportunity to play copyright games including the Publishing Trap and a playful copyright hackathon!

Presentations and photos from the day are now available here. Check out Jane’s write up of the event here and another great blog by Rhodri Hughes.

More information about UK Copyright Literacy can be found in this great Icepops Q&A by Chris and Jane.
