Booking reminder: Two new workshops run by CILIP Information Literacy Group

A quick reminder that the CILIP Information Literacy Group (ILG) have two new workshops still open for bookings.

There is just a couple of weeks left to book onto the Information Literacy for New(er) Professionals in Sheffield!

Information Literacy Teaching for New(er) Professionals, 16th April, Sheffield.

This full day workshop will introduce models of Information Literacy and some basic teaching techniques that will help new professionals, plus those new to teaching or training information skills. Workshop will be led by a range of IL professionals, Kate Grigsby, Jane Secker, and Andrew Walsh.

Reflective Practice for Information Literacy Practitioners, 18th June, London.

This full day workshop will help Information Literacy practitioners (whether new professionals or those with longer experience) become more effective and reflective practitioners. Workshop will be led by Barbara Sen, former Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and long standing expert on reflective practice.

Both workshops are £115 for non-members of CILIP, or discounted to £75 for CILIP members.
