Approaches to Teaching Information Literacy in Practice – online training session

Like the rest of the world, the CILIP events team have been adapting to a new way of working, including adapting their planned events to different formats or revised dates, and adding new content such as online events.

Originally due to take place in Sheffield, Approaches to Teaching Information Literacy in Practice will now be delivered via Zoom on Friday 1st May 2020. Led by experienced trainers Dr Jane Secker and Sarah Pavey. this webinar training will enable attendees to understand the terminology of information literacy, critical literacy and digital literacy and how these terms may be used within different education levels. It will also look at how to embed information literacy and ensure continuity of teaching practices within different disciplines by sharing experiences of collaboration with teachers and academic staff.
