Bookings now open for Icepops

Icepops eventBookings are now being taken for Icepops: International Copyright-Literacy Event with Playful Opportunities for Practitioners and Scholars, which will focus on creative approaches to copyright education, information literacy and scholarly communication.

This one-day event will be held on Tuesday 3rd April 2018 at the University of Liverpool and will be the first satellite event run as part of the LILAC conference.

Devised by Chris Morrison and Jane Secker (the UK Copyright Literacy team) and run in conjunction with the CILIP Information Literacy Group, the day will include keynote speakers, a world café, an opportunity to play copyright games including the Publishing Trap and a playful copyright hackathon!

The full draft programme is now available online. Find out more about the keynotes and speakers at Icepops.

Bookings are now open for the conference via the CILIP ILG Events page.

The event is open to delegates to register as a standalone event, however a discount is offered to those booking the event in conjunction with LILAC.

Cost: £100 (inc VAT) for the day including all refreshments, lunch and an evening social. A discount is offered for people attending LILAC and/or presenting (£80), discount for LIS students (£50).

Accommodation is not provided but we will provide details of local hotels on the LILAC Accommodation webpage.
